What are the system requirements for the Algebra textbook?

Windows PC

• Operating System: Windows 2000/XP (see note on Vista)
• Screen resolution: 800x600 and higher
• RAM: 512 MB or greater
• Disk Space: 360 MB available
• Processor: 600 MHZ or greater

Macintosh

• Operating System: Mac OS X version 10.2 or higher
• Screen resolution: 800x600 and higher
• RAM: 512 MB or greater
• Disk Space: 360 MB available
• Processor: 600 MHZ or greater

Can I run the Algebra book on Vista?
Yes, but for now you must right click on the Algebra icon and select "Run as administrator." We hope to be more seamlessly supportive of Vista with our algebra book by August, 2007

What about Linux?
We do not currently support the Linux operating system.

Can your products be run from my server?
No. The products need to be installed on your machine's hard drive, or many of our products run off of Kinetic Books servers. At this point, they cannot be run off of servers owned or run by other companies.

Can I run your products on the Internet?
Yes. The algebra product will be available in a version that runs off Kinetic Books internet servers. This will significantly reduce the download, but it will require your machine to have an internet connection to run. Please check our website for availablity and see our complete list of purchase options.
