Installation Verification

Welcome

To ensure that the installation was successful, please take a moment to review the pictures below. If the description matches the picture in each case, the installation was successful. If a picture and description do not match, you may wish to restart your machine and return to this page to see if all pictures now appear correctly.

If restarting did not solve the problem, please follow the instructions below the picture location. We have also included links to the manufacturers support pages should you continue to experience difficulties.

Flash: You should see a Flash picture of a ruler above. If you do not see this, please visit the Macromedia support page for helpful advice. Java: You should see a picture of a castle above. If you do not see this: 1) Press your browser's refresh button twice.
2) You must run our installer for this picture to display: both our files and the correct version of java are necessary.
3) If after running our installer you still have problems please visit the Sun support page for helpful advice.
QuickTime: You should see a picture containing a buffalo above.
1) If you see a dialog box, press "Apply to all QuickTime movies" and press "Enable".
2) Check our knowledgebase on this topic.

Final Step: Accept the security certificate

The final step is to accept our Java security certificate. When you click on the "Launch simulation" button below, it will launch one of our simulations. As it is loading, a security certificate dialog box will appear. Please select "Always" to complete the installation. If you accepted the security certificate on a previous page, you may not see the security certificate dialog box.

Depending on the version of Java you are running, the certificates may look different. As an example, some require an "Always trust content from this publisher" checkbox must be checked. You may also see a message indicating that the certificate has "expired" or has "an error." If you select "Yes" or "Always," the product should still work as expected.
